Dwight “Buddy” Kinser, Sr., 65 of Franklin, entered into rest on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Indianapolis.
The longtime Johnson County native was born February 18, 1954 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Joseph T. Kinser, Sr. and Irene (Doss) Kinser.
Dwight was a family man who was a wonderful father and dearly loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. He cherished spending time with his entire family. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and football.
Dwight was a giving person who was the ultimate example of how to give to others and share with those in need. His friendship was an asset to so many people.
Dwight worked at Kroger for many years and then worked as a Route Salesman with WonderBread for many years, retiring in 2012.
Dwight is survived by: his son, Dwight Kinser, Jr. (Jody) of New Castle, IN; his grandchildren, Katie Daniels (Josh), Ike Kinser, Emily Kinser, Gabby Kinser and Izzy Kinser; his great-grandson, Deacon Daniels; two sisters, Scherry McCormick of Greenwood, IN and Peggy Carlin of Franklin, IN; one brother, Mike Kinser of Franklin, IN, and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Nick Kinser and a brother, Joseph Tommy Kinser, Jr.
