Mr. Clavell was born July 11, 1934 in Ponce, Puerto Rico son of the late Antonio and Amelia Alvarez Clavell. He had retired from Union Carbide and had been a communicant of St.
He is survived by two sons, Ramon A. Clavell of Waterbury and Julio A. Clavell of Philadelphia, PA; three daughters, Digna M. Clavell of Waterbury, Jannette Clavell of Puerto Rico and Lorna Cole of Oakville; one sister, Martha Clavell of Canada; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Gerardo.
