Dr. Robert Keith Moore Jr. passed away suddenly on Feb. 8, 2014 at his home in Dallas, Texas. Born on April 11, 1981 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Keith was a joy to his family and an inspiration to all who knew him. He graduated from Crestview High School in 1999 as a member of the Big Red Machine and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. Keith continued on to earn his medical degree from Tulane University. After completing his residency in Emergency Medicine at Christus Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, Keith began his career in Dallas as an emergency room physician. He was a loving and devoted son, brother and friend. He enjoyed working with computers, playing video games, making music, wake boarding, good jokes and magic tricks. He was bright, curious and possessed unlimited determination to accomplish whatever projects, goals or challenges he encountered. His desire for learning and understanding was boundless, not only in the field of medicine but in all aspects of life.
Keith is survived by his loving parents, Glenn and Christine Bankert, of Crestview, FL, his sister, Ashley Wagner and her husband Matthew, sisters, Erin Bankert and Corey Bankert, beloved Mimi, Joyce Knapp, grandfather, Mike Knapp, his nephews, Ben and Henry Wagner and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and treasured friends.
