Dr. Peter Leonard Randolph Hasche Clarke, 65, passed away suddenly, January 8th at Wake County Medical Center.
Born in Richmond, Virginia to Geraldine and Dr. Richard Clarke, both deceased, Peter is survived by his loving soulmate, Rhonda Mazejka; his children, Rebecca, Maxim, Hervé, Rémy; sister, Karen; brothers, Richard, Henry and by his beloved’s family, Nick, Callie Jo, Jesse, Mason and Rachel.
Peter was a big fan of billiards, palm trees, crossword puzzles and cigarettes. He was a music lover with a hidden talent for juggling while riding a unicycle.
Dr. Clarke was a voracious reader of both English and French literature. Despite multiple challenges, he was a rock of support for his children and provided a wonderful role model for how to live a giving, meaningful life. His quiet confidence was a calming force to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, colleagues and patients.
