Dr. Patrick Joseph DiVietri, (76), beloved father of Patrick DiVietri (41) and John-Robert DiVietri (38), of Manassas Virginia, was surrounded by family as he went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 19, 2024. He died as he lived, desiring to do the Will of God first and always. Patrick was born on March 3, 1948, in Jackson, Michigan, the fifth child of loving parents, the late Margaret Marie and Patrick Annunzio DiVietri. He treasured growing up in Jackson, and was doted on by his siblings as the baby of the family. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School in Jackson in 1966, he left home to begin his adventures that would take him all across the country. Patrick began his adult life as a musician. He was a Grammy nominated composer and musician for his Partita Teresiana about the life of St. Teresa of Avila. One of the greatest honors of his life was to be able to perform the Partita live for 10,000 people in Rome in front of Saint John Paul the II for the 400th year anniversary of St. Teresa’s death.
