Dr. James H. Ware, Jr., age 82, passed from this life to Life Eternal on May 25, 2015 in Pensacola, FL. An accomplished scholar and a devoted spouse, family member and friend, Jim lived by Tennyson’s challenge to “To Follow Christ the King, Live pure, speak true, right wrong, follow the King. Else, wherefore born?” Born in Shanghai, China to missionary parents, Jim pursued a life-long interest in Chinese language and culture, publishing and teaching in both Asian studies and in Philosophy and Religion at Austin College, Sherman, TX and the University of Central Arkansas.
