Dr. Harold Ronald Smith; 58; passed away in Washington DC Monday, February 12, 2007. Dr. Smith was born in Dayton, TN and lived in Chattanooga for 24 years. He was a graduate of Red Bank High School, graduate of UTC, and received his doctorate from UTK. He has lived in Washington DC for the past 33 years and was a Research Psychologist with the U.S. Department of Interior. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold S. Smith. He is survived by his mother, Gertrude Smith; sister, Jan Veal; niece, Sarah Veal; nephew, Josh Veal, all of Ooltewah; and his special dog, Winston.
