Dr. Donald E. Oljace, 84, Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Morning Breeze in Greensburg. Born on July 11, 1930, in Gary, Indiana, he was the son of Barney and Elizabeth (Christenson) Oljace.

Donald was a 1948 graduate of Gary Emerson High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University in 1953 and then received his doctorate degree in Dentistry from Indiana University in 1960. He was a first lieutenant in the chemical corps of the Army serving from 1955 to 1963. Don joined the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite in 1980. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Orchestra from 1976 to 2012. He was Concert Master from 2003 to 2012. He attended the First Baptist Church and had been a member of the Greensburg Country Club where he enjoyed golfing with his friends. He was first married to Margaret Longan on September 7, 1953, and she preceded him in death on March 15, 1984. He then married Jean (Harrison) McClure on February 14, 1986, and she survives.

He is also survived by one son, John (Rosita) Oljace, Philippines; three daughters, Kathy Miller, Greensburg, Jenny (Chris) Frederickson, Bloomington, Kim (Chris) Yentes, Fairland; one stepson, Jeff (Judy) McClure, Greensburg; two stepdaughters, Christy (Kip) Hull, Greensburg, Janice Ryle (Fiancé) Derek Cornn, Greensburg; grandchildren, Mike Cooper, Darrell Cooper, Alex Morrow, Alena Oljace, Cami (Paul) Touloukian, Kasie Cloud, Brett Frederickson, Jake Frederickson, Blake Yentes, Trent Yentes; step-grandchildren, Yllzer Pangan, Ybrick Pangan, Yin James Pangan, Jessica McClure, Tim McClure, Kyra Hull, Lizzie Hull, Dillon Ryle, Lexi Ryle; Great Grandchildren, Madison New, Phoenix Morrow.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife; two brothers, Edward and Richard Oljace.
