Dr. Carl Victor Ramey, age 82, of Morehead, husband of Emma Pauline Ramey, Morehead State University professor emeritus, and community leader passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born March 12, 1936, in Waverly, Ohio, he was the son of the late Bud Robinson Ramey and Ella Mae Swim Ramey. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Victor is survived by his wife of 61 years, Emma Pauline Ramey, whom he wed November 22, 1956; three sons, Carl Mitchell and wife Debra Ramey of Shelbyville, Illinois, Glenn Robinson and wife Leigh Ann Ramey, and Paul Gregory and wife Brandi Ramey of Grand Rapids, Michigan; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two brothers.
