Doyle William Allen July 7, 1919 – March 25, 2015
D.W. Allen, 97, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2015. He was born July 7, 1917 in Stockdale, Texas. D.W. had an extensive military career, and he was a survivor of Pearl Harbor.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Zadie Louise Allen.
D.W. is survived by his wife, Willene Allen; three children: Larry (Peggy) Allen of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Bobby Allen of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Danny Allen of Panama City Beach, Florida; three step-children: Sean Blackburn and Lydia Foust both of Heber Springs and Sheila Bass of Conway; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Sears, of Dublin, Texas; and one sister-in-law, Nin Allen, of San Antonio, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, and family members.
