Dovard Gordon Kelley of Newnan, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, at his residence. He was born May 31, 1934, in Roanoke, AL to the late Andrew Gordon & Mary Jane Flournory Kelley.
He moved his family to Newnan in September of 1966. Mr. Kelley was employed by William L Bonnell Company for over 25 yrs. After retirement, he went to work for the City of Newnan in the Cemetery Department where he retired after 15 years on January 31, 2013. Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Baker Kelley, granddaughter, Ami Victoria Chambers, sisters, Bertha Spradlin and Frances McNelis; brothers, Clifford Kelley, Richard Kelley, and Walter Kelley. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Tammie R. Chambers & Jerry R. Chambers of Danielsville, GA, Anda R. Crawford and Javier Carra Mendosa, Jr. of Forest Park, GA; grandchildren, William C. Windom III, Jeffrey K. Windom, Ricky D. Chambers, and Candice E. Chambers; great-grandchildren, Kimberly Michelle, Shaina Rochelle, and William C. Windom IV, Lucas Dovard, Luke Andrew, Corbin James, and Amanda Carolina Chambers; great-great-grandchildren Christopher Coursey, Jennity Nevaeh Dills, Railynn Windom; sister, Nina Allen; brothers, Leon, James, Charles, and Cecil Kelley.
