Douglas William Schnitzler, 62, husband of Carol (Dudek) Schnitzler of Bristol, passed away at his home on Sunday September 6, 2009.
Mr. Schnitzler was born on January 29, 1947 in Nyack, New York a son of the late Hugo D. and Teresa J. (Dowd) Schnitzler.
Douglas retired from Stanley Access Technologies in Farmington after working there for 29 years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his sister Linda D. Sokolowski of Thomaston; his three daughters, Tammy, Belinda and Diana; his two sons, Scott and Todd; his two nieces Jodi Tufano and Teresa Russo; his nephew, Jeremy Sokolowski and his two great-nieces Mariah and Melina Russo and grandchildren.
