Douglas Wayne Myers, 57, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016, in Indianapolis. He was born December 19, 1958, in Beech Grove, to his parents, James Myers and Ruth (Rieko) Howe.
Doug worked in the frozen foods department at Kroger and proudly served our country, in the Army. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially, his grandchildren. He loved good friends, good food, and fellowship. He liked riding motorcycles, camping, and making people laugh.
He is survived by his children, Kim Myers-Dziubanski of Indianapolis, Chad Myers, Andy (Anne) Myers, and Cassie Myers, all of Greenwood, Allie (Justin) Mc Andrews-Hayes of Whiteland, and daughter-in-law, Nicci Wood of Shelbywood, his mother Ruth (Mansford) Howe, his companion, Agnes Murr, both of Greenwood, one sister, Karen (Ron) Oaks of New Whiteland, and one brother, Gary (Sara) Myers of Whiteland, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christy Myers, his father, James Myers, a sister, Marilyn Gregory, and two children, Jennifer Myers and Jeff Wood.
