Douglas M. Junkersfeld, 55, Anderson, died September 27, 2009 at Methodist Hospital-Indianapolis after a brief illness. He was born January 17, 1954 in Anderson and graduated from Antelope Valley High School. He was co-owner of D.M.J. Industrial Contractors, Inc. A lifetime member of Indiana Trail Riders Association; he was also a member of A.B.A.T.E. and H.O.G.G.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married March 9, 1974, Kathy A. Erney Junkersfeld; mother, Joan Coulter Junkersfeld of Lake Charles, LA; son, Jeremy Junkersfeld & wife Rebecca of Anderson; stepdaughter, Lora Gandy & husband, Robert Jr. of Geist; sister, Debbie Cushenberry & husband, Tim of Cody, Wyoming; grandchildren, Alexandra, Riley, Ross, Taryn and Haley and special friends, Ernest M. Junkersfeld & Vee Junkersfeld. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Junkersfeld and a brother, Mark Junkersfeld.
