Douglas L. Skinner, 96, of Kokomo, passed away August 31, 2017 at Howard Community Hospital. He was born November 1, 1920 in Anderson, Indiana where he resided most of his life.
Douglas served in the US Army. He retired from Delco Remy in 1980 after 40 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pendleton, IN. He played golf and spent the winters in Florida since 1984.
Douglas is survived by his loving spouse of 26 years, Darrah Gail Huntzinger Skinner; children, Roger (Penny) Skinner, Rand (Sandra) Huntzinger, Deborah (James) Caddell, 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Eve Skinner, wife of 42 years, Marjorie Guy Skinner, first wife, Mildred Greer; brother, Gordon Skinner.
