Pendleton, Indiana-Douglas L. Clark, 80, passed away early Sunday evening, December 29, 2013, at the Rawlins House Health Care Center following an extended illness.   He was born on November 17, 1933 in Scottsville, Kentucky, the son of Burvies Truman Clark and Bevie (Jones) Clark Huntsman.

He is a 1952 graduate of Scottsville High School in Scottsville, Kentucky and later graduated from Ball State Teachers College in 1956.  Douglas married the love of his life, Naomi Jeanne (Dearing) Clark on March 24, 1956 and she preceded him in death May 4, 2012.  Mr. Clark had worked as a Production Control Supervisor serving the Indiana Steel and Wire Company for 40 years prior to his retirement in 1992.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Burchel, (Husband-Rick), Anderson; one son, Paul Douglas Clark (wife-Sandra), Hudsonville, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Heidi, Michael Wiley, Megan Rowe and Alexandra, Andrew, Solomon and Victoria Clark; five great grandchildren; two step brothers, Charles Huntsman(wife-Alberta), Indianapolis and Donald Huntsman (wife-Donna), Mooresville.

Besides his wife of 56 years, Naomi Jeanne, he is preceded in death by his parents.
