Douglas Gerard Schneider, 64, of Littleton, Colorado passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Skyridge Medical Center from complications of Influenza B which lead to ARDS and lung failure. Born September 27, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Cecele Schneider. Doug graduated from Denver University with a Masters in Business Administration degree. He worked at Lucent Technologies and Avaya until he retired in 2007. His other job was being the best spouse, father and grandfather to his loving family and a great friend. Doug was a member of the Whittington Center Gun Club. He was also a lifelong tinkerer! Survivors include his spouse Fran, his son Mike (Amanda) Schneider and his son Chris (Keri) Schneider, and his four beautiful grandchildren, Luke, Sadie, Rowan and Finnegan. Doug is also survived by his sister Celeste Clark and Gerard Monfette. He was preceded in death by his brother Allen Schneider.
