Dottie Lou Robinson Brown, 78, of Grafton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the home of her daughter, Jennifer (Gary) Poling, surrounded by her loving family. Dottie was born March 4, 1943, in Webster, Taylor County. She is the daughter of the late Attie Gilbert “Dick” and Truda Lucie Atha Robinson. She married the love of her life, Philip O. Brown, on October 20, 1961, spending sixty wonderful years together.
Dottie graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1961. She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. Dottie was the secretary for thirty- nine years for the Blueville United Methodist Church and was a member for forty- five years. Dottie began caring for others at a very young age; beginning with caring for her sister-in-law, Betty L. Walls, through -out the years who was involved in a vehicle accident. She was devoted to her family, friends and church. She treasured the memories she made with each of them.
In addition to her husband, Dottie is survived by two daughters, Joyce K Moore and husband Richard, Jennifer D. Poling and husband Gary; one son Philip Keith Brown and wife Kimberly, all of Grafton; three granddaughters, Justine Brown, Whitney Dillon and husband Cody, Sarah Brown; two great-granddaughters, Laken Dillon and Paisley Dillon, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dottie is preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Jean Riggleman and husband James, Edith Jo Foley and husband Martin; brother, Gilbert Rex Robinson; and grandson, Connor Douglas Poling.
