Dorthy “Dot” Phelps Kingston, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 9, 2018, at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls.
Dorthy was born September 27, 1928, in Sacramento, CA, to Harry Orville Phelps and Pearl Atkins Phelps. She grew up in Northern California where she attended Catholic Schools.
On June 23, 1945, she married Mark Kingston in Reno, Neveda. To this union were born four children: Carolyn, Janae, Dave, and Mike. Dorthy was a mother who worked hard and was devoted to her family. She worked at Hill Air Force Base in operations. The children’s father passed away August 16, 2005.
