Dorthy Louise Humphrey, 91, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday July 1, 2012 at the IU Health Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.
Dorthy was born January 3, 1921 in Franklin, Indiana and was the daughter of Stanley and Ethel (Kinser) Owings. She worked at Sarkes Tarzian before retiring from Cook Incorporated. She attended Sanders Pentecostal Church and was a wonderful and loving homemaker, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include two daughters, Delores Faye Baugh of Bloomington and Joyce Leonhardt (Larry). Also surviving are three grandchildren, Tammy McIntosh (Greg), Debbie Cannon, Greg Dimmett (Alison), three great grandchildren, Joseph Wesley Brink, Zack Dimmett and Jenna Dimmett, three sisters Grace Baugh, Jean Reed and Phyllis Todd (Alfred) and one brother Herbert Owings, all of Bloomington, and one son-in-law David Keith Baugh. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Sipes, sister Violet Sears, brothers, Roscoe Owings, Lowell Owings, Bill Owings and Robert Owings and her grandson Randall Keith Baugh.
