Dorothy V. Donovan, 85, of The Milton Home, formerly of North Huey Street, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, May 28, 2005, and is now with her husband at God’s side. Dorothy was born on July 16, 1919, in South Bend, IN, to William Big Bill and Catherine (Wiesnewski) Hosinski. She was formerly employed with the Bendix Corporation and was also a homemaker. On June 14, 1952, in St. Stanislaus Church, as Dorothy V. Hosinski, she married her husband of 52 years, Michael D. Donovan, who preceded her in death on May 22, 2004. Also preceding her in death were three sisters, Effie Miller, Irene Steiner, Florence Wroblewski, and one brother, Aloysius Hosinski. Surviving are her children, Michelle Donovan of South Bend, Indiana, and Michael (Mary) Donovan of South Bend, Indiana; three grandchildren, Tara (Shirell) Patterson, Jason Swartz, and Christy Swartz; and five great grandchildren, Austin Patterson, Miranda Patterson, McKinzie Rice, Nathanial Curtis, and Conner Swartz.
