Winter Garden, FL – Dorothy Sarah Williams, 102, of Roper Road went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Serenades Memory Care Assisted Living after a brief illness.

Born in East Nassau, NY, she was daughter of the late Gustavis Adolphus Face and Mary May Bartlett Face and wife of the late Edward L. Williams. She had resided in West Stephentown and since 1970 in  New Smyrna Beach and Winter Garden, FL and was a graduate of Thomas School in Stephentown. 

Dorothy retired as an inspector for Ceramaseal in Lebanon, NY.  

She was a member of West Stephentown Baptist Church.    

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn (Robert) Lobdell, Donna (Harry) Kachadurian, Averill Park; 19 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 96 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Norma Lobdell, Averill Park and Dorothy Lyon, New Smyrna Beach, FL, and a son, Edward C. (Joan) Williams, Norwood, MO; two grandchildren, Matthew Williams and Tami (Lobdell) Bermas and her siblings, George, Joe, Earl, Floyd and Leon Face, Susie Herrick, Mary Flood and Rosetta Sedgwick.

Her greatest joy in life was time with her husband (for 64 years) and her precious family.  She showed them all how to love unashamed, like Jesus. 

A special thank you to her granddaughter, Kimberly, who was always there for her;  Brooke, Joy, Blondine, Quanna, and all her caregivers who showed her much compassion and love while at Serenades, and staff at Cornerstone Hospice.
