Dorothy Pitko, a longtime Burlington resident, died Monday, February 28th at Marcella Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Burlington Township, she was 81 years of age. Born in Mt. Holly on April 3, 1929 she was the daughter of the late John and Annie Pitko. Dorothy loved animals of all sorts but especially enjoyed feeding the birds.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her siblings: Peter, Jacob, Joseph, William, Theodore, Sophie and Helen. She is survived by her sister; Bertha DiLissio of Burlington, her brother; Alex Pitko of Messa, AZ., as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
