                         Dorothy Langley Farmer, 80, of Wilson, passed away Monday at Accordius Health of Wilson.

                         Dorothy worked for many years at Devil-Dog in Lucama and Wilson and Wilson Apparel until the textile industry closed. She then worked for Wilson County Schools in the cafeteria of Elm City Elementary and last at Wee School of Wilson.

                         Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Dickie Farmer; parents, Elton Mac “Bud” and Mary Lee Langley; siblings, Jean Page, Bobby Langley, and Willard Langley; and son-in-law, Gordon Parrish.

                        Dorothy is survived by her son, Thomas Farmer; daughters, Sherry Farmer Bass (Russ) and Lori Farmer Parrish, all of Wilson; a sister, Alice L. Morgan of Wilson; granddaughters, Brandi Bass Parker (Jonathon) of Elm City and Rebekah R. Parrish of Wilson; great-grandchildren, Levi Parker, Lana Parker, and Van Parker, all of Elm City, and her granddogs, Scarlett, Xero, and Biscuit.
