Dorothy P. Miller
Dorothy P. Miller returned to our Heavenly Father on January 29, 2016. She was born June 4, 1928 in Preston, ID to Joseph and Nellie Perkins. She graduated from Preston High School and Seminary. She married her sweetheart, Stephen L. Miller, on November 20, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married for 69 years. She lived most of her life in Farr West and Plain City.
Dorothy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served faithfully in many callings, including 20 years as a Relief Society secretary. She was a faithful election judge for many years. Dorothy loved doing crafts, sewing, camping, and everything that had to do with her family whom she loved very deeply. After retirement, Dorothy and Stephen loved traveling extensively in their fifth wheel trailer.
She is survived by her husband; children; Bruce Miller, Lyle (Judy Palmer) Miller, Ann Marie (Rich) Rasmussen, and Stephanie (Randy) Clifton; 18 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother, one son, Kenny, one granddaughter, Nanette Jones, and two daughters-in-law, Roxanne Miller and Lynette Groneman.
