Dorothy Osborne Moore age 84 of 360 Marion Road Chatham, VA died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at her residence. She was born on January 22, 1928, in Pittsylvania County, the daughter of the late Will Thomas Osborne and Rose Ann Towler Osborne. She was a member of Piney Fork Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Robert Lee Moore Mrs. Moore is survived by four sons, Thomas L. Moore of Chatham, Robert Glenn Moore of Gretna, Jimmy W. Moore of Chatham, and Ronnie D. Moore of Chatham; five daughters, Louise M. Windley, Joann M. Barker, Callie M. Hogan all of Chatham, Peggy M. Vincent of Blairs and Bonnie M. Daniel of Gretna; six sisters, Annie Donnelley, Relda Shelton, both of Martinsville, Evelyn Perry of Maryland, Ruby Cravens, Gladys Osborne both of Gretna, Brenda Brooks, of Chatham; two brothers, Roger Osborne of Chatham, Emory Osborne of Hurt; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by five brothers, Burton, Oxyn, William, Carl, and Lyndsey Osborne; one grandchild, Carrie Ann Moore.
