HINKLEYDorothy O. (nee Osborne), age 88, of Audubon, PA died on January 3, 2018.Beloved wife of 67 years of Howard W. Hinkley and loving mother of Janet E. Bright, Margee M. Hayes and Dorsey A. Hinkley. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and her sister, Elizabeth Claudy.Dorothy Osborne Hinkley lived a remarkable and exciting life. Born in 1929 and raised as the daughter of a WW II Army General, her life started with extraordinary friendships and experiences that grew with her. She graduated from Syracuse University in 1951 and married the love of her life, Howard Hinkley. Together, they raised three wonderful daughters while still exploring the world. As her family grew, so did her adventures. She created incredible memories with all eight of her grandchildren touring foreign countries, and managed to keep that adventure alive in her daily life. Whether it was sailing, hiking, tennis, or a show, she embraced life’s experiences, and enjoyed every second of it. In addition to the 67 years of love she gave her husband, she blessed her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless other friends and family with an incredible and unparalleled love that was returned unconditionally.A remarkable and unique life.
