WINSTED –NEUBAUER – Dorothy Neubauer, 98, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. She was born December 25, 1910 in Winsted, CT; the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Bischoff) Neubauer. She was graduate of Gilbert School. She was employed by Gilbert Clock as a Secretary in Purchasing and Receiving and later retired from Waring Products working in their office. Dorothy enjoyed spending summers at their cottage at Highland Lake. She liked baking cakes and brownies and she also enjoyed needle craft. Dorothy had a great love of cats. She was a member of First Church of Winsted. She was very devoted to her family. She is survived by her close friend and caregiver, Josie Bernard of Winchester and her cat, Buddy. She was predeceased by four sisters, Marion Neubauer, Louise Cleveland, Mildred Smith and Helen Neubauer.
