Dorothy Nell Kiker Ramsey of Huntsville passed away on Friday, April 15th, age 87, Dorothy was born February 5, 1935, in Jasper, Alabama to James Andrew and Alice Murray Kiker.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Michael Key, her parents and three brothers, Garfield, John Lee, and Douglas Kiker, and five sisters Esther Powell, Pearl Dowdey, Ola Mae Girard, Bessie Dowdey and Jessie Doris Kiker. Her longtime friend, Dr. Craig Thorstad who passed away in her care.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Wally Key (Jakki) and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dorothy was a wonderful mother and always there for anyone who needed her. She found a granddaughter in Kellen Casey from the first time she held her. Kellen and her daughters, Anastasia and Lilith were her pride and joy. They enjoyed her loving mothering ways and will always remember her as their Nana.
Dorothy leaves behind a large community of family and friends cherish her memory.
