Loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother. Dorothy lived her life for her family being the consummate homemaker, seamstress, gardener and gourmet cook. Dorothy passed from this life on December 23, 2016. Dorothy the youngest of 7 children, was born in 1923 to Anna and Frank Wilhelm in Philadelphia, PA where she attended church and school. Dorothy worked at General Electric during WWII where she met and married Neil Glackin then moved to Burlington New Jersey which she called home for decades. Dorothy was widowed young, and married for a second time to John J. Maloney, also a widower.

Their combined families brought together four children and together had a fifth child. Widowed for a second time, she wed John McConnell, to whom she was married for 30 years before his death in 2011. For the past three years, Dorothy made her home at Sunrise Living in Newtown Square PA. Surviving children include son Dennis Glackin (Joyce) of Newtown Square, PA; daughter Carol Maloney Lorton (Kyle) of Highland, MD; step children John J. Maloney, Jr. of Tabernacle NJ, John McConnell (Kathy) Bensalem, PA and Irene McConnell Helgesen (John), of Bensalem, PA.

She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings; step daughters Eileen Maloney and Patricia Maloney Stewart (Donald). Dorothy was proud of her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
