Dorothy Mae Woudema, age 89, of DeMotte passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Oak Grove Retirement Village.
Dorothy was born on February 25, 1927 in DeMotte, the daughter of Martin Musch and Sara Dexter Geislman. She was a lifelong resident of DeMotte and a graduate of DeMotte High School. Dorothy married the love of her life, Hermon Woudema on October 3, 1953 in Crown Point, Indiana.
He preceded her in death on July 31, 1983. Dorothy was an LPN dental assistant and also worked at Northway Products in Rensselaer as a sprayer for 14 years. Dorothy was a member of Grace Fellowship in DeMotte.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Elizabeth Valade (Bob) of Wheatfield; Butch (Tina) Woudema of Wheatfield; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
