Dorothy “Dottie” Olexson Lowry, 84 of Holiday City South section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ passed away on Friday October 28, 2016 at home. Dottie was born and lived in Brooklyn until she moved to Monroe Twp NJ, where she realized that she had a knack for farming as well as raising livestock and homemaking. She also enjoyed canning, Arts and Crafts and became a great mentor to her children, as well as various 4-H groups before moving to Holiday City South in Berkeley Twsp., NJ. She was an active parishioner at St. Maximilian Church in Berkeley Twsp., NJ.
She is predeceased by her first husband George M. Olexson and her second husband Robert Lowry. Surviving are her four sons George, Edward, Andrew and Frank; her three daughters Carol Janecek, Audrey Edgecomb and June Rozmus; her brother Edward Chodorski; her sister Barbara Corradini Gonzalez; her 23 grand children and 15 great grand children and her beloved friend Mary Britske.
