Dorothy D. Lindquist, 89, of Plainville, passed away on Saturday October 8, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice Lindquist. Dorothy was born on October 21, 1921 in Plainville to the late William and Bertha (Steinhorst) Denniss.
Dorothy was a lifelong Plainville resident and worked in the Plainville School system for many years. In her later years she became a member of the Plainville Senior Center where she also worked for awhile. Dorothy was a huge REDSOX and UCONN basketball fan.
She leaves her 4 sons Randall Lindquist and his wife Barbara of Wolcott; Robert Lindquist and his wife Ann of St. Joseph, IL; Gary Lindquist of Reno, NV and Russell Lindquist and his wife Leslie of Holly Springs, NC, along with 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a brother William Denniss and his wife Barbara of AZ and several nieces and nephews.
