Dorothy L. (Bond) Wilson, 93, of Pendleton, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. She was born September 18, 1919 in Pendleton to the late Henery and Mary L. (Dowden) Bond.
Dorothy was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and attending the Ingalls Church of God was her passion. In addition to her prayer team meetings two to three times a week, she faithfully went to pray at the church throughout the week, even if she was the only one there. Church was her life, prayer the staple of her life, and Jesus was the Lord of her life.
She also served as a baker at Pendleton Heights High School for thirty years, before retiring in 1999. She is survived by daughters: Carolyn (Myron) Ireton of Ingalls; Sandra (Maurice) Fulk of Anderson; Vickey Rule of Chesterfield; and Tammie Wilson of Anderson; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Woodrow Wilson in 1978; four sisters; two half-brothers and a grandson.
