She was born in Wright, Florida, on October 5, 1921 to Manuel and Mary Ann Atwell.
She is survived by her sons, Hubert W. Hobbs, Jr., Raymond Hobbs and his wife, Patricia; granddaughters, Tina Hobbs Johnson, Crystal Hobbs Adkins and Theresa Hobbs and numerous great grandchildren.
