Dorothy Jullich, 91, of Seaside Park, NJ, passed away on August 26, at 3:07 am. She was born and raised in Passaic, NJ. After high school, she joined the women’s Army Corp and served in the Air Force during World War II. Dorothy married Martin Jullich in 1946 and together they raised five wonderful children. They lived in East Paterson and Parsippany before moving to Seaside Park in 1975.

Dorothy was a stay-at-home mom until her husband passed away in 1981. She then worked for Ocean County in the department of Buildings and Grounds. After her retirement, she spent much of her time doing volunteer work with Preferred Behavioral Health, the Ocean County Caregivers, Meals on Wheels and the Second Time Around Consignment Shop. She was a member of the Red Hat Shore Birds and was a communicant of St. Catharine of Siena Church of the Parish of St. Junipero Serra, Seaside Park.

She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, her daughter Janice Cook, her sister Rita Robles and husband Joe, her sister Ruth Sarlo, her niece Karla Mahull and her husband “Mickey” and her beloved granddaughter Desiree’ Jullich. She is survived by four children, Donna Robertson, Jeffrey Jullich, Laura Kent and husband George, and Bob Jullich and wife Jeanine, her nine grandchildren Bobby and Pamela, Ken and wife “Dee”, Dawn, George and wife Lindsy, Alexandra and husband Dale, Jocelyn, Eric and wife Sam, and Brianna and nine great grandchildren Ashleigh and Dayna, Dougie, Amber, Courtney, Liam and Brianne, Hannah and Kendall, and great nieces and a nephew.
