Dorothy Josephine McDonald went to be with her heavenly Father on September 1, 2014. Dorothy Jo was born in Independence, Kansas on October 16, 1920 to Bessie May (Shupp) and Frederick King Tunison. She was the youngest of six children. She graduated from Moline High School in 1938. After graduating from High School, she attended and graduated from a Business Preparatory School in Wichita, Kansas. She married her lifelong love, Rex L. McDonald on May 22, 1945. Because of Rex’s career in the Navy, they lived in all areas of the United States.
