Dorothy Jean Turner Deck, 88, Anderson, died April 13, 2011 at Countryside Manor, Anderson after a brief illness.
She was born April 2, 1923 in Arkansas, and resided in Anderson. Dorothy lived in Anderson since 1945 and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church and St. Matthew United Methodist Church Charity Circle.
She is survived by her son; Lucky Kathy Deck of Carmel. Two grandchildren; Michael Shannon Deck and Matthew Janel Deck. Seven great grandchildren; Emily, Johnny, Lindsay, Natalie, Mary, Peter and Patrick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Deck, whom she married July 18, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away January 8, 2008; and her parents; Tom and Emmitt Luck Turner.
