Dorothy “Dottie” J. Wilson Williams, 79, Anderson, passed away June 24, 2012 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after an extended illness.
She was born January 28, 1933 in Anderson, and resided in Anderson all of her life. Dottie retired from Delco Remy in 1988 after 17 years of service. She was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church. Dottie was a Community Hospital Pink Lady Volunteer serving as president of Community Hospital Anderson’s Axillary in 2000 and active in the Jayshree’s.
She is survived by her children, Virginia Randy Nelson of Pendleton, Margaret Gary Finley of Poway, California, Sharon Bob Hon of Texas City, Texas, and David Dawn Williams of Pendleton; brother, Walter “Bud” Marge Wilson of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester & Ethel Grant Wilson; husband whom she married in 1951, Donald E. Williams; four sisters, Maxine Roush, Donna Wilson, Pauline Bramel, and Virginia Hertzinger; and one brother, Jack Wilson.
