Dorothy Amazon Hicks, 89, Ringgold, died Monday, November 20, 2006, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her husband, James Perry Hicks. Survivors are son, Clifton Hicks, Ringgold; sister, Betty Bocchino, Washington; nieces, Becky Bocchino, Washington, Teresa Locke and Linda Frood; nephews, Wiley Dicks and Eugene Hass, several other nieces and nephews also survive.
