Dorothy Marie Hawkins Marshall
Dorothy Marie Hawkins Marshall went to her eternal home on November 25, 2013, a place that she has longed for, for such a long time. She was welcomed into the arms of her beloved Lord and Savior, and her precious family that went before her. She was the last of twelve children and missed her parents, especially her sweet Mama, and her siblings. Dot was such a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She never met a stranger and welcomed so many into her home over the years. She has struggled these past several years with dementia and Alzheimer’s, but she never lost her sense of humor and her beautiful smile.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 64 years Ben; her five children, Thomas Leslie Marshall (Cheryl), Beverly Sue Kiepke (Larry), William Clifford Marshall, Elizabeth Lynn Carver (Richard), Rodney Jeff Marshall (Leslie); ten grandchildren, Marc, Joe, Anna, Daniel, Katherina, Ryan, Kyle, Bart, Anna Leigh, and Will; four great grandchildren, James, Sarah Pearl, Roweyn, and Jacob; and several nieces and nephews.
