Dorothy K. Glessner, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Blough Health Care Center, Bethlehem. Born in Philadelphia, Dorothy was the daughter of the late George W. and Florence (Farrell) Kaelin. She was a dispatch operator for the Bethlehem Police Department for many years. Dorothy was an avid reader, and spent many hours at the Bethlehem Library. She also enjoyed local high school theater productions, as well as treasure hunting with her metal detector and going to yard sales. Survivors: sons Jerry Glessner and his wife Judy of Bethlehem Township, William Glessner of Ellensburg, WA; grandchildren Justin Glessner and his wife Amber, Jacquelyn Economopoulos and her husband Nick, and Jacob Glessner. Dorothy was predeceased by her sister Ruth Reckeweg and her brother George Kaelin.
