Dorothy Foy Gantt, Trudy, as she was known, passed away May 7, 2013 in Dahlonega, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents Janet and Erle Foy of Atlanta. A native of Atlanta, Trudy graduated from Cross Keys High School and attended Auburn University. For the past 40 years she and her family have lived outside Dahlonega in her beloved north Georgia mountains. She was a devoted wife and mother, as well as an expert in the needle arts. She also had a gift for weaving, a huge talent for knitting and was a superb teacher. Trudy is survived by her husband William (Corky) Gantt, sons Graham McGhee, Ashley McGhee, Jason Gantt , and daughter Janet Welch, as well as five grandchildren. In addidtion she is survived by sister Nancy Foy Carson
