Mrs. Lukowski passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region. The daughter of the late Valentine and Rosalie Hanczewski was born December 9, 1917 in Bay City. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church and a life member of Eagles Aires #1010 Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters-in-law; John and Linda Bird of Bay City and Rodger and Shelia Bird of Pinconning, Barb Bird and Sandi Bird, her grandchildren; Jodi Brayman , Kevin Brayman, Jami (Shaun) Christsen , James (Joy) Bird, Jim Kalmes, Matthew Bird, Jerime (Chrissy) Bird, Michael Bird, Jessica Bird, Jackie Bird, Robert Bird, Veronica Bird, Kelly (Scott) , Richard (Sherry) Bird, Jeff (Karen) Bird and Kendri McClean, numerous, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, one sister; Emily Herek, numerous nieces and nephews, special friends Betty and Judy. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands; Jack Bird and Alphonse Lukowski, her special friend; Joseph Switala, her sons; Richard E. Bird, Ronald J. Bird and Jeffrey D. Bird, her brothers and sisters and grandson; John T. Bird.
