Dorothy Frances Toops Eaton, 82, Anderson, passed away September 19, 2008 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born July 7, 1926 in Marion, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of her life. Dorothy was a graduate of Anderson High School class of 1943. She retired in 1976 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 30 years of service. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Agapios, Dr. Jennings, Dr. Sarin, Dr. Spotsville, the nursing staff and chaplains at St. John’s Health System, Rawlins House in Pendleton and Hervey Lawrence.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara James Randall Hummel of Anderson; two grandchildren, Jennifer Glenn Carlos and Joseph Hummel and two great grandchildren, Jonathan Carlos and Nathaniel Carlos and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eaton; parents, Ralph & Pearl Dickerson Toops and brother, Darrell Toops.
