Dorothy “Dot” Frances Price, 86, of Indian Trail, NC passed away at her home alongside her loving family on August 21, 2018.
Dot was born March 13, 1932 to the late Smith and Lola Simpson. She was a charter member of Friendly Baptist Church in Indian Trail, member of the Gideons Auxilery, a devoted Sunday school teacher. She loved gospel music. Dot cherished time with her family and had a welcoming heart.
Dot leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Olin Price; children, Jan Blanchard, Tena (Bubba) Bowers, Gidget (Andy) McDaniel; grandkids, Brian (Shannon), Kevin (Misty), Dustin (Jill) and Dani, Tiffany, Ashlyn, Lee (Tiffany), Melissa and Whitney. Sisters, Faye Kiger and Rachel Henderson. Dot was proud of her 21 great-grandkids.
In addition to her parents, Dot is preceded in death by her son-in-law James Lee Blanchard and her great-granddaughter Anslee Renea Horne.
