Dorothy E. Taubel (nee Smith), of Burlington, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Masonic Home of New Jersey, in Burlington Township, at the age of 91. Mrs. Taubel was born in Burlington and remained a lifelong Burlington resident. She was a former member of the Burlington Garden Club and the Good Cheer Club.
She spent her life as a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker for her family. Wife of the late Walter Taubel, Jr., she is survived by her children, Marjorie (Leonard) Wojcik, of Burlington, Nancy (Bill) Thorne, of Burlington Twp., Elinor Broadbent, of Westampton, and Walter (Kathy) Taubel, III, of Mt. Laurel, her eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, as well as her sisters, Ada Jane Harris and Alma Wallace, both of Burlington.
