Dorothy E. “Dot” Hughes, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in Country Meadows in Bethlehem Twp. She was the wife of the late William J. Hughes, who died in 2000. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Blanche (Jenkins) Wartman. Dorothy was an Avon Lady for 40 years. She was a member of St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem and Order of the Eastern Star Calypso Chapter for 50 years. Survivors: her daughters, Cynthia J. Williams of Bethlehem; Donna H. Talaber, her husband, Joseph of Bath; two grandchildren, Hayley E. and Evan J. Talaber. Dorothys brother, Robert C. Wartman and sister, Ruth A. Dickson, died earlier.
