Dorothy “Dot” Lineberry Jester, 70, of Staley, died Friday, June 14, 2019 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Dot was a native of Chatham County and a longtime resident of Staley. She retired from Ramseur Interlock after 32 years of service and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Della Cain Lineberry, sisters, Ava Wheeler, Ruth Lineberry, and Emma Jean Lineberry.
Survivors: husband, Larry Jester of the home, daughter, Tammy Marks, and husband, Steve, of Pickens, WV, sisters, Shirley Lineberry, of Burlington, Judy Moricle, of Burlington, brothers, Bobby Lineberry, of Staley, Raeford Lineberry, of Snow Camp. Bo Lineberry, of Asheboro, and Tim Lineberry, of Greensboro, step daughter, Kelly McMurray, and husband, David, of Ramseur, step son, Travis Jester, and wife, Jennifer, of Staley, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
