Dorothy Deem, 85, of Anderson, passed away on February 18, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Anderson. She was born on March 12, 1936, in Burkesville, KY, the daughter of Arthur Lee and Ada Bernie (Abney) Vibbert.
Dorothy retired as a cook from Bob Evans after 15 years of service. She sang country music and enjoyed singing, watching her “stories”, playing the slot machines at the casino, skeet shooting, and cooking.
Dorothy is survived by her grandson, Steven Curtis Vibbert; brother, Donnie Vibbert; daughter-in-law, Michele Kupfer; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy Deem; sons, Jesse Ray Vibbert and Steven Wayne Vibbert.
